"Hero of our time" by Mikhail Lermontov - the first in Russian literature social and psychological novel and unconditional masterpiece of world classics. The love of the Church of Bella, intrigues in the resort of Pyatigorsk, a duel with a friend of Grushnitsky and a dangerous game with the fate in the story of "Fatalist" - everywhere Pechorin brings the surrounding only destruction and pain, while remaining a deeply unhappy person. Lermontov managed to create an immortal type of "excessive man" - a thought egoist who from tiredness and lack of great thing breaks the fate of others, trying to find the boundaries of his own freedom.
